A Wyeast exclusive blend of lambic cultures produce beer with a complex, earthy profile and a distinctive pie cherry sourness. Aging up to 18 months is required for a full flavor profile and acidity to develop. This blend will produce a very dry beer due to the super-attenuative nature of the mixed cultures.
A yeast nutrient pouch is not included with this blended culture - we recommend you make a starter before using this.

Best Yeast for a Flanders Red
Just pitch as is for a great Flanders Red. Great results. Used the recipe in Brewing Classic Styles and followed Jamil Zainasheff's suggestions. A great beer that is stil developing in the bottle. Can't wait to taste it every 6 months to see how it is changing.
