London Ale III
Yeast arrived with normal delivery in 2 days. Pkg. was dated to be only 2 wks old. Used to make a best bitter. Grain bill had 50% Golden Promise and 5% 40L Crystal. Malt sweetness came through as a nice treacle/toffee flavor with hops apparent, but understated. Pitched at 61F and fermented at amb. temp of 65F gave 76% atten.. Produced what I would consider a very style appropriate Best Bitter with no diacetyl..
NE IPA'S
Works great for brewing NE style IPA'S for that hazy look.
