We think this is one of the most potent organic deposit remover available. Formulated with more sodium percarbonate than other oxygen based brewing cleansers, for faster organic deposit removal. Outstanding for removing paper labels and organic deposits from all brewing equipment. In our tests compared with PBW, Brewer's Edge Oxygen Cleanser had less foaming upon mixing than PBW, and was just as effective at removing organic deposits.

Safe for glass, plastic, and stainless steel (stainless steel contact time up to 60 hours). Makes 12 gallons of working solution.

Buy 4 or more and save $1.00 off each one pound jar.

This is the best keg cleaner I have ever used. Wish it was cheaper!

oxygen cleaner

One of the best cleaners I have used for my equipment. Soak for just 5 minutes and it lifts all debris off. I have even used it on old beer bottles that I could not get the dried yeast off of.

Good stuff

Great cleaner

I am very pleased with this cleaner. It did a great job removing some orgsnic stains on a sight tube. I will buy it again.

Great Option

I went ahead and bought 4 packages to save $4. I've always used PBW but see no difference with the Brewer's Edge product.

Q: This is a cleanser that needs rinsing, right? I still have to sanitize with a non-rinsing sanitizer, like Easy Clean? Thanks.

A: Yes, it should be rinsed off after use. Yes, using a registered Sanitizer like StarSan or or Easy Clean will kill bacteria and wild yeast after cleaning.

Q: Should this be used for cleaning of copper immersion coolers?

A: If you want to make copper bright again, use B.S. Remover from Five Star Chemicals, an acid cleaner that removes oxidation from copper.

Q: I made up one gallon of brewers edge cleanser in a plastic water bottle and used half and capped the rest. Can I use this 6 months or a year later?

A: The active ingredient, sodium percarbonate, will give off oxygen constantly while in solution, and will not be effective after 48 hours. So no, this is not a good idea.
