Great holiday spice ale yeast
Have been using this for last two years when brewing holiday spice ale with ginger, orange peel and a dash of holiday spices. Took many years to find this match. Previous yeast was the Weihenstephaner, which was good but the banana esters created too many aromas and tastes. The Irish ale yeast finishes clean with a dry finish. For a medium bodied, malt forward British-style ale, this one is a winner.

Excellent rresults, made an outstanding Irish Red followed by a Scottish. Also appreciate the delivery method, the yeast was still cool when received.

Pros: I especially like this style of yeast in many of my ales. It,s very clean and ferments out well, as a good yeast should. All the yeasts that I've tried have quick activation and have done a very good job.
Cons: a little pricey, but for consistency and reliability, I suppose it may be worth it.
