Bear Paw IPA features a tasty blend of pilsner and pale ale malt, balanced with plenty of Simcoe and Cascade hops. The result is a beer with a crisp delicate malt flavor that is not caramelized, and a rich deep citrus hop character. Alcohol: 6%, IBU’s 69.
Includes 13 pounds of crushed pale and pilsner malt, three hop additions, and priming sugar. Makes 5 gallons with a starting gravity of 1.059.

Q: I have the Brewers edge mash and boil # B27 will this all grain kit work with it?
A: Yes, use 4 gallons of strike water for the 13 pounds of crushed malt in this kt.

Q: I have misplaced the priming sugar. What amount should I use?
A: We use 4½ oz. per batch.

Grain crush is too fine
For this kit, the grind is too fine. I use a Blichmann mash tun, and I can’t get flow out of the vessel. I have a HERM system and I am unable to circulate. I cannot maintain mash temp. It would be nice if these kits were available uncrushed since I know that my crush works on this system. William's Responds: Thanks for the suggestion on this. We crush these for an average system, and some customers have systems that need a coarser crush, while other Brew in Bag customers want a very fine crush.
My first all grain
Not a huge IPA fan but this turned out to be super drinkable and easy to brew.
Bear Paw = delicious!
I bought the Mash and Boil William's Brewing Kit and this IPA grain kit came with it. Following the directions resulted in a really fantastic batch, the perfect IPA blend of smooth malt with pungent citrus hops. My kit came with the Safale option - fermentation started slow but bubbled right along and true to the recipe was ready at 16 days...
Good Tasting Basic IPA
I hated not supporting my local brewing supply store, but I couldn't let the virus get in the way of making home brew. This kit comes with everything you'll need, I guess you need to buy the yeast, so almost everything. It even comes with priming sugar, which I didn't need, but that's how complete the kit is. The IPA is good tasting. The instructions are good, and all the pellet hops packets are premeasured so you can add the whole packet at the right boil time. There is no dry-hopping required.
Bear paw IPA
Bear paw IPA kit came without the priming sugar I had just the right amount leftover from another brew
