This filter clips onto the TopDraw® Beer Pick Up Tube, and keeps hops and other debris from blocking your pickup tube, poppet valve, or tap. Made of HDPE plastic and 304 stainless that is 80 mesh, this is fine enough to filter out hops and other solids but not so fine that it gets easily clogged. Besides the TopDraw, this is also ideal for the FermZilla or stainless Kegmenter with a floating pick up tube.
This 2" long filter can be boiled to sanitize, and the end cap removes for thorough cleaning. It features three attachment points for the TopDraw floating stainless steel ball so you can adjust how low the filter hangs below the float ball (see the thumb nails above).

Doesn't require the float
I needed two but realized I only had one floating ball. Decided to try it without the ball and it works perfectly. It floats just enough to keep it on top but easily drained the complete All Rounder. The end cap is easy to remove for cleaning.
Filters hops
So this seems to work well. I dry hopped w/ 8oz in a NEIPA in the keg, and this had no issues keeping particulate out of the ball locks and lines. I know some people rig them to be weighted down a bit so they don't float, but I haven't had to (and hopefully won't). Nice product!
