Are you looking for better quality clear and flexible beer line? CLEARFLO Ag-47 is designed to protect beverages from harmful bacteria. It's manufactured from a clear flexible Shore A74 phthalate-free compound with the addition of antimicrobial protection. The antimicrobial technology is especially effective where there is infrequent use of fluids in warm or humid conditions and the tubing has no opportunity to dry thoroughly between uses.

The antimicrobial properties protect the tubing against organisms that can cause growth-based discoloration and odors. Testing has proven that the active ingredients neutralize bacteria rapidly, and because the ingredients do not dissipate with use, they can be expected to offer protection for an extended time under normal conditions.  The active ingredients in CLEARFLO Ag-47 will have no detrimental effect on yeasts used in brewing. Maximum operating temperature is 125° F.  This tubing is not DuoTight compatible, for compatible DuoTight tubing, see our items Z91 and Z92.

Most brewers prefer this  3/16" inch diameter for short beer lines, to minimize foaming by providing more flow restriction in shorter (5' or less) beer lines. 3/16" inner diameter tubing is used in our beer towers, and in all our draft systems. This tubing is 3/16" inner diameter by 5/16" outer diameter. This tubing will fit 1/4" hose barbs if you heat it in hot water before slipping over the fitting. 5/16" translates to 8mm outer diameter, so this tubing will also fit 8mm DuoTight fittings, handy when you want a gas line that is more flexible than EvaBarrier tubing.

This tubing has 3 pounds of resistance per foot. What does this mean? It means if you have a 4' beer line of this tubing, you have a total of 12 pounds of resistance in the line. Generally, this means setting your PSI on your regulator to the same 12 PSI figure will result in good beer flow, although setting it a bit lower can be preferable (to avoid carbonating the beer in the keg) if you do not need to fill glasses fast.
