This stainless shank includes a stainless 3/16" dual purpose hose barb that is also compatible with our Duotight Reducer (item Z84) so you can fit 8mm outer diameter EvaBarrier tubing to this shank easily. Fits all standard 3" diameter beer towers. Features a spring hole to hold the optional Intertap Faucet Spring, a stainless spring that works only with Nukatap/Intertap Shanks and Nukatap or Intertap Faucets to add a self closing function.
The Nukatap shank itself fits all beer faucets, but the self closing function is only possible with Intertap and Nukatap Faucets and the Nukatap Faucet Spring. Fits the DuoTight Reducer as well as 3/16" tubing (be sure to use a hose clamp if you use tubing).

Q: What size is the O-ring (or washer) in the seat of this shank? Do you sell replacements?
A: Not sure what you mean, our faucet head gasket is Q98, although this is not part of the shank. The shank does not come with an O ring or a washer, although it does come with a white nylon spacer which is not sold separately.

Q: Will a Perlick 425 faucet work with this shank?
A: Possibly, but not guaranteed, as Perlick and Intertap can have different machining tolerances.

Q: Can these be used on flat sided towers like a "T" or "H" style tower?
A: No, but our shank R36 will work on flat towers.

Q: Is shank and elbow welded together? Are they both made out of stainless steel?
A: Yes, the shank and elbow are welded, and both are type 304 stainless.
Intertap DuoTight Tower Shank
Great product. Installed very easily, taps went right on.
Great for use with DuoTight Fittings
Good shanks - they DuoTight compatibility is great. My only complaint is that the curved ring that fits against the outside of the tower is plastic, even though it is painted to look like stainless. Works as advertised. The holes in my tower were 0.005 inch too small to accept these shanks, so I had to use a Dremel tool to open them up slightly, which was pretty easy. I had no problems fitting the shanks, Duotight fittings and tubing into the tower after that.
