6.5 glass carboy
This was exactly what I was looking for and at a very good price.
Great for 5 gallon brews
perfect for 5 gallon brews...enough room to use an airlock but not too much. definitely the way to go.
6 gallon carboy
Pros: Well the advantage for a 6-gallon carboy is having minimal headspace for any oxygen, while having enough for krausen. Glass is really the way to go (over plastic buckets) and the price is here is as good as it gets these days, now that they don't make them in Mexico anymore.
Cons: Don't drop it! You'll definitely want to consider adding a handle at minimum, possibly a carboy parka.
