In stock, will ship on Monday, June 22

Do you bottle your beer?  Do you sometimes wonder if your naturally carbonated beer is carbonated and ready to drink or refrigerate? The CarbClip® securely holds an 8mm Duotight fitting in any glass beer bottle that accepts a 26mm crown cap. This lets you attach a pressure gauge to monitor carbonation development in the bottle, eliminating having to open a bottle and potentially waste a beer just to see if carbonation has developed.

When beer is naturally carbonated by the action of yeast and sugar at room temperature, the gauge will read 15 to 20 PSI when it reaches a normal carbonation level.

Includes stainless CarbClip®, 0-40 PSI Pressure Gauge, 8mm Duotight fitting and sealing rubber stopper.

It works, but use keg lube

Review by Michael Nicholson on 5/16/2026

I had no pressure for a week but in reality there was no seal until I gave it a thin layer of keg lube. I applied to all parts that might need a seal. I don't know what part was leaky, but within a few hours of lubing, the pressure became measurable.

Carb Clip

When opening a homebrew, I always listen for the hiss. With this thing all you have to do is look at the Guage. You can only to one bottle at a time, but still useful.

Q: Does This work with Grolsh style flip top bottles?

A: No, they do not have the lip needed to hold the clip in place on the bottle.
