The pure copper AlcoEngine Reflux Condenser from Kegland produces extremely clean, pure alcohol. This allows you to collect up to 93% of the possible alcohol from the wash. This comes out at 93% alcohol purity which beats pot stills. Fits the Mash & Boil, Brewzilla, Grainfather, and Anvil Foundry. Now with quick disconnect garden hose fittings for the cooling water, to make your still easier to set up and take down.

High quality alcohol made with this reflex column can be used to make high quality, commercial grade, clear spirits such as Gin, White Rum and Vodka as well as any of the other spirits and liqueurs in the Still Spirits Essences range.  This is the condenser to get when you intend on making clean distilled spirits to steep with flavorings or fruit, or to make Vodka and Gin type spirits. Includes two orifices, a wider one for stripping runs, and a narrower one for extremely pure alcohol production. A digital thermometer is also included for keeping track of when the spirits will run, and when to stop the run.

You will need to run cold water through the condensing column while your run is in progress.  You have two cooling options here, you can either use your own garden hoses and Melnor- style hose disconnects, or buy our KegLand Still Cooling Connection Kit, item Q74.

The distillate outlet pipe is 6mm in diameter, and 3' of 3/16" interior diameter silicone hose is included to attach to this.

Q: Does this also fit the alcoengine alembic dome? I have the pot still attachment with the big copper dome right now.

A: Yes, this fits all lids and dome with 47-48mm holes.

Q: what are the differences in orfices

A: There are two orifices which you can use to adjust flow and purity. You will receive an orifice with a 0.6mm hole and also another one with a 1.0mm hole. The hole size is what dictates the speed at which the spirit flows out of the still. As a result by using a larger flow you will get faster collection of spirit but at the same time you will get a reduction in purity.
