Used to acidify mash and sparge water for the advanced brewer. To make a working solution, add 2 teaspoons to 3 cups of water, and then stir into your mash (after the grain has been added, because grain lowers the pH) until the pH drops to the correct 5.0 to 5.5 range for mashing. This is only necessary if your tap water is alkaline. Also good for adjusting sparge water pH to the ideal 6.0 to 6.5 range. Food grade. Use the working solution sparingly for best results. 5 ounce bottle of 88% solution.
