Turn any pot into a mash tun. This all stainless screen screws into the threaded back inlet of the Brewers Edge KettleValve, allowing you to mash or strain out whole hops from the boil (these tend to clog when using a lot of pellet hops). Features 3/8" NPT male threads to fit the Brewer's Edge Kettlevalve. (does not fit Polar Ware or Zymico products). This also fits a 10 gallon Igloo cooler when used with a KettleValve. Made from 14 gauge stainless wire. 12" long.

Kettle screen did an excellent job helping strain brew as pouring into fermentation tub.

Bought the 'defect/blemished' 40 qt pot ($80 - What a deal, still looking for the blemishes) and the 3/8" kettle screen for a new boil pot. It was cheaper than buying a cooler, false bottom, valve etc. and it can be electrified (this one will!).This works great! Next up will be another kettle screen for the 5 gal SS mash tun. No more plastic, just Stainless Steel pots and my glass big-mouth 6.5 gal fermenters, then straight to kegs and/or bottles! Thanks

Nice product, well-constructed, I use it in my mash tun, I’m using a 10 gallon Igloo cooler. I've been using grain bags for mashing for a while and finally decided to make the switch and I’m very happy I did. I recommend it to others.
Kettlescreen
All too often I'd get a stuck drain from my boil kettle into my counter flow chiller. With the kettlescreen installed it always drains fine. It's foolproof...unless you forget to install it before the boil.
