Cold does not rise. You will find that a beer tower elevated above a refrigerator will always remain warmer than the refrigerator, resulting in initial pours from the kegerator that are warm and foamy, followed by colder pours once you have dispensed a beer or two. At home this is a real problem, unless you pour beers in quick succession. This is the only kegerator to include a tower cooling fan as standard equipment, and also feature a fan on/off switch on the front digital control panel.

When it is time to pour a glass, the Series 4 includes a handy glass holder inside to keep your beer glasses chilled. Just open the door and grab an ice cold glass and dispense. The beauty of the KegLand Series 4 is the extended range thermostat included. Unlike kegerators with standard 30° to 50° temperature ranges, the Mark 4 can be adjusted easily with the front panel digital display from 26° to 82° F (ambient temperature permitting), which means you can also use your kegerator as a fermentation chamber for ales in summer, a small refrigerator for food items, or even a wine cellar.

Included with all models are a a C02 bottle mounting bracket, removeable refrigerator shelf, integral tower cooling fan. You select the beer tower/faucet option that is right for you, and you can also select a discounted C02 regulator in case you do not have one. All you need for home brew besides your ball lock kegs and C02 tank with regulator are barbed ball lock fittings for gas and beer. Or purchase Sankey Couplers (see at right) to dispense a commercial keg of beer.

Kegerator Normal Operating Sounds
KegLand Kegerators have been manufactured with the new r600a refrigerant gas used on many appliances. It is used because it is the most environmentally friendly gas and it is also extremely energy efficient. The new r600a gas does make some unusual sounds and we have recorded, amplfied, and included links to the sounds below so you know what kind of sounds this modern unit makes.

Very attractive kegerator that has performed to expectations. Temperature control keeps beer to desired serving temperature.
Looking forward to fermenting home brew in unit.

Very good, but not for 3 sixtels
I love this kegerator, but it does not fit three commercial sixth barrels without a troublesome amount of persuasion. I own a brewery and really bought this for my house but we ended up needing a few extra taps in the taproom for the holidays. This thing is essentially silent almost all of the time. We tried every possible configuration to get three 9.25" commercial kegs in there but the only way the door closes is with ratchet straps around the top and bottom. Not the most elegant solution, but desperate times call for desperate measures! Probably great for homebrew kegs or a combination of commercial/homebrew kegs, but don't buy this if you think you can easily fit three sixtels. Otherwise a really great kegerator :-)

Very Happy
This was my first purchase of a Kegerator and couldn't be happier. It was easy to setup and get working. The shipping box lifts off the top of the kegerator for easy moving into place. I first didn't tighten down all the connections enough and had a gas leak. Then marked the nut on the regulator to get the full half turn and now I am enjoying my first draft homebrew after bottling for ever! Temp says within 2 degrees of the setting. So glad I finally stepped up to this system.

Kegerator Still not working
I purchased this Kegerator about 5 weeks ago. It arrived on time and in good condition. With the use of the video it is not hard to put together. However my kegerator will not turn off. The temperature in the kegerator keeps dropping way below what the temp is set at and yet it keeps on running. Williams Brewing has been very receptive and have now shipped me 3 parts to replace. None fixed the problem. A new "Cold box" is now being shipped to me. It has been a PITA with it still not working. I have a keg in it and have to manually plug and unplug it. Hopefully it will start working soon.
I would add that I do find it a little loud when running (even when the fan is off). It is louder than an old "dorm fridge" I was using to keep kegs cool.
So my rating is on the product, not reflecting the good customer service that Williams Brewing has offered.

William's Brewing Responds: We are totally stumped on this one, as you have replaced the main power board, control board, and thermistor and still the unit does not turn off. We do not know why this is. We have sent a new unit by truck at no charge, this should at last solve the problem. Thanks for your patience on this.

Kegland 4 Kegerator
Overall a very good product for the money. It does have a few minor annoyances.
1. Temperature wanders a bit, 4-5 degrees F. from set temperature.
2. No interior light. If used as fridge, or when trying to hook up kegs. it is hard to see inside.
3. Compressor is a bit on the noisy side, not too bad, but noticeable.
I would definitely recommend this product for any home brewer.

Will a sankey coupler with the ball lock adapters fit inside? I want to be able to have the option to use a sankey coupler with ball lock fittings for one line so I can have a 1/6 keg of commercial brew if I only have 1 corny of homebrew
It will if you also fit a P64 Low Profile Adapter to the Sankey.

If you purchase with "no tower or faucets" does it still include the cooling fan for the tower, or is that available as an add-on separately?
It includes the cooling fan and a hose to put into a tower in the base unit.

Will Kombucha require use of the all stainless Sankey Coupler (item B71)?
Yes. Due to the high acid levels in Kombucha as well as wine and cider, stainless steel coupling heads must be used.
