An aromatic variety that also has high alpha acid, Citra was developed from Hallertauer Mittlefrueh, US Tettnang, Brewer's Gold, and East Kent Golding stock. The name Citra implies its flavor, which has been described as having notes of citrus, lime, grapefruit, gooseberry, passion fruit, and more.
A great hop for your IPA styles. Average alpha acid: 12%, beta acids: 3.5 - 4.5%, CoHumulone % 22-24, total oil% 2.2 to 2.8%, Myrcene % 60-65, Humulene% 11-13, and Linalool % 1-2.

Excellent Dry hop
Beers I dry hop with this smell of apricots
Great in my Glueten Free Beer!
This is a great Hop for my Gluten Free Beer I make! Excellent Citrus overtones :-)
Love it
This is by far my favorite hop variety. They play well with so many other hops. I use citra with amarillo in my house IPA. Very unique tropical flavor and aroma. I highly recommend.
Best Late Addition Hops Available
These are hands down the best late addition hops I have ever used in American style Pale Ales and IPA's. Every beer I have brewed using these hops has had a very distinct hop quality that is memorable and super tasty. They pack a lot of flavor too. In 1 oz dry hop of Citra I get the equivalent potentcy of 2 oz of other hops.
Best Citra hops you can find.
These hops are my go to hops when doing a Citra brew. The only bad thing is that they run out fast.
