This is included with the Grainfather Connect, but is sold here as an upgrade for owners of older Grainfathers which do not have the latest bluetooth enabled Connect Controller. Also works to fix an older out of warranty Grainfather with a failing control box. Automation without removing the fun of brewing, be as involved as you want to be! Q: Can we expect an Android app also?
A: If you check Google Play, there is currently an Android App, although there are some concerns voiced when you read the app description. Apparently, the bugs are being worked on right now/

I’ve had my Grainfather for several years with the original controller. So I upgraded to the new controller and wished I’d done it sooner. Being able to preheat water while sleeping is worth every penny, not to mention it saves a lot of time.

Disappointed that you are limited to 4 mash steps, disappointed that the app doesn't works as the instructions indicate, cumbersome to end a session, unfortunate that this was my only choice for a replacement controller, not what I had hoped for.
