Staple at my bar now

Review by Martin on 4/15/2013

All my friends loved this beer and now are paying me to keep it on tap in my garage. Its very light and crisp. You can drink Multiple of these without trouble. The honey is very apparent and keeps the girls asking for more. Do not order this beer if you are a hop head. Also, this one reached its peak flavor after leaving it alone for at least 6 weeks.

William's Honey Cream Ale

Review by Brendan on 4/12/2013

The recipe is simple & easy to interpret & execute for a notice brewer. The resulting brew is light on the pallet and mildly hoppy with nice honey notes. It makes a good choice to serve to guests who are not traditional homebrew drinkers.

A very nice surprise

Being a Genesee Cream Ale fan (long story) I was drawn to this kit. I've never brewed with honey so I wasn't sure about the results. Well have no fear - this one is def worth a try. The balance between the hop flavor and the honey is excellent. The color is a perfect gold. I kegged this and the natural carbonation level is excellent. The flavor profile should satisfy just about anyone. I can see this working its way into my regular rotation.

Good stuff

First attempt at brewing and couldn't be happier. Cracked one open after only 12 days in bottle so yes, flavor was a bit green and the beer was quite thin but it's still super drinkable and has great carbonation. With another couple of weeks in the bottle I'm sure it will only get better. Great beer for rookie brewers such as myself.

great
