Great Product

Review by Michael W. on 11/21/2005

Pros: Light weight. Greatly eases the process of bottling and fermenting with a secondary

Cons: Greater risk of contamination, though every batch has been great so far.

A nice way to ferment your beer

Review by DAVID on 9/30/2005

Pros: Plastic is lightweight, nearly unbreakable, easy to handle, and easy to clean. The WB spigot leaves most of the trub behind, and the translucent color and volume marking make it easy to estimate how much wort or beer is inside.

Cons: Plastic scratches easily and can absorb colors, odors and (more importantly) flavors. It is also not suitable for long-term storage, such as fermenting a barleywine. And this is a little expensive for a plastic bucket.
