This stainless Micro Pipework allows you to brew 10 liter (2.6 gallon) batches in the Grainfather. Handy for smaller test batches.

Q: Is the nut and washer included? If not, can you tell me the size and is it available?
A: The nut and washer are not included. You need to reuse the ones that came with your Grainfather. While the diameter of the threaded pipe seems to be 3/4" OD, the thread is unknown.

Q: Does it include the nut and washer for the bottom?
A: No, just the two pieces in the picture.

Q: Can I use this to make lower gravity 5-6 gallon batches, with out the process of adding water to grain bills of less then 9.9 lbs?
A: Yes, this allows a shorter overall height of grain in the malt pipe.

Q: Could this be used with the robobrew to make smaller batches?
A: Yes and no. This kit will fit the Robobrew, although the lower grain pipe that attaches to the false bottom will not. The end result is a 2" reduction in height, not the 4" reduction possible with the Grainfather. So you can brew with 2.5 pounds less grain than with a stock Robobrew, not 5 pounds less like you can with the Grainfather.
