Consider it's intended use
If you use %ABV to follow the progress of cuts, it is a good idea to take the smallest sample possible. Having a proof/Tralle hydrometer that requires a 250ml test jar is kind of useless. This little ABV hydro can make readings in under 100ml. Searching for the right size jar hasn't been easy. I have one that is working (within margin), but I keep looking for smaller...
