Q: I do not wish to have or use the temp twister. I would like to use the thermowell. Can the temp twister holes be capped off or closed in such a way that I can still do a pressure fermentation? Can one of the temp twister holes be used for the dry hop port?
A: You can close up the temp twister holes in the lid using bulkheads (C60) and plugs (C52) and still be able to use the pressure feature with the thermowell installed. You won't be able to use one of the temp twister holes for dry hopping and retain the pressure feature. The bulkheads need to be installed with the lid off as they bolt on from the bottom of the lid.

Q: Can I use the coil and thermo well and still retain the pressure feature of the fermenter? Or is it either or?
A: Yes, the cooling coil and the KegLand thermowell both feature Duotight fittings with O rings that seal if installed properly.

Q: I purchased this pre-drilled lid, Temp Twister, and Thermowell. I see in the photo you were able to install them all. On mine the thermowell wants to crash into the coil. In your photo looks like the thermowell is touching the coil. I also notice the KegLand video doesn't show both thermowell and temp twister installed at the same time. Seems like to operate correctly these should not touch (or chiller will short cycle). Any suggestions appreciated.
A: They do touch, but we think the thermowell is still fairly accurate in this situation.
