In stock, will ship on Monday, August 15

This three gallon size is perfect for splitting batches or making small batches of wine. Unbreakable crystal clear PET plastic fermenter features thick PET walls that do not require ribs or texturing for strength. Easier to clean than ribbed fermenters, and easier to see through. BPA-free plastic, molded  in Canada. 9" wide, 15" tall (not including airlock and stopper). Includes a valve with a 3/8" hose barb outlet to fit 3/8" interior diameter tubing.

This 3 gallon Fermonster features a 4" diameter O ring sealed lid for easy cleaning, that takes a #10 stopper and airlock (stopper and airlock not included, you will be given the opportunity to purchase these when you put this in your cart).  An optional solid lid is also available in case you want to use your Fermonster for storage, or want to drill your own holes.

Below is a video on installing the lid sealing O ring:

Cheaply Made

Review by John on 9/13/2018

Guess my expectations were a little high, this fermenter will work but is made of super thin plastic. The unit I received had the side pushed in required reaching in from the top to pop it out, leaving a crease. While not worth the trouble to ship back, I wouldn't purchase another - too many better options. William's Brewing Responds: Sorry about this, we are sending a replacement unit today at no charge. Thanks for your business!

a good small fermentor

Review by norden on 4/19/2018

have been doing 2 1/2 gall batches lately... don't have room for all the 5 gall equip. I have.. this looks like a nice, small batch fermentor and I love the wide mouth... should make it very easy to clean.. had been using narrow mouth fermentor and it was hard to clean with a bottle brush.. looking forward to using this on my next batch

Q: the valve has a rubber o ring that is flat on one side and tapered on the other. the taper will NOT fit into the hole in the carboy. does the o ring go on the outside of the carboy, or on the inside? and which way does the taper face: the carboy or nut?

A: You will need to remove the gasket from the valve and turn it around. The proper way to use the tapered gasket is to mount it on the outside of the carboy with the flat side touching the carboy and the tapered side facing the valve body.
