Description

Our Siphonless Fermenter completely eliminates the need for messy siphoning with its unique invert tube valve, which keeps silty sediment out of the valve during fermentation, and acts like a siphon hose ideally placed just above the yeast sediment when draining. Made entirely of food grade plastics (no BPA), our Siphonless is a rugged and easy to clean fermenter. All parts are easily disassembled for easy cleaning. The 6 gallon (total volume) fermenter holds 5 gallons of beer, with room for foaming. Gallon markers on the side of the Siphonless make it easy to measure half batches, or water to fill a brewing pot. The lid features a removeable silicone food grade O ring for an airtight seal (pictured at right). The valve fits the 4’ of 3/8” tubing included for oxidation-free transfer of the raw beer into our Priming Tank.

Includes invert tube valve, lid, removeable silicone O ring, airlock, 4’ of tubing, and illustrated instructions. 21” high (including airlock height), 13” deep. Withstands temperatures of up to 170° F.

Now by popular demand, a lid sealing O ring is included with our Siphonless!

Works as advertised
Used this in place of another brand siphonless bucket. Better spigot placement (bottom did not extend beyond bottom of bucket) and no leaking from the spigot or its seal. I recommend if you're looking for a new one .

More than just a bucket
When it comes down to it, this is just a bucket with a valve and a lid. However, it's also everything I need for a secondary fermenter. The bucket has easy to read graduations, and you can easily see the liquid level. The lid goes on easy, I had to use a rubber mallet on my old bucket, and you can see through the lid to make sure it is sealed all the way around. The lid comes off fairly easy too. The air lock is already set up on the lid. The valve with the siphon is slick. It comes with tubing that fits tightly on the spigot, so I just connected it, put the other end in the keg, and opened the valve. No need to put in the cane and setup a siphon.

Hassle free
This system is great for fermentation, airlock seal. Does a great job leaving most of the heavy settlements on the bottom easy clean up

No frills just a really good piece of equipment
I'm fairly new to home brewing and a friend who helped me get started recommended this fermenter. This is one of the best purchases, of brewing equipment, I have made.
Some of the reviews had trouble with the lid gasket but I've not had any problems. Even though some experts claim you don't need the gasket, I like that it seals and I think this and the valve are the best features of this item. The siphonless feature of the valve makes racking very fast and easy. Get a length of 3/8 food grade silicon tubing for the racking. It works really well with the valve and it is much easier to use than the vinyl tubing that comes with the fermenter.

Can you just purchase the o-ring for the outlet spicket?
We do not sell this separately, although we sell a replacement valve that includes this part (item E39).

I need a blow off tube for this. Been using some very active yeast and it just clogs up the air locks. Tried three different pieces of tube I had on hand and none came close to fitting snug in place of the air lock. What size tube can we use?
If you have our more modern Siphonless lid with a 5/8" hole, our item J58 thick wall thermoplastic tubing works although you cannot see though it. It is a bit of a squeeze, but you can also get our J58 1/2" Silicone Tubing to work
