The Robobrew with Pump from Keg King features a recirculation pump with an on off switch, as well as a false bottom and grain pipe to both protect the pump from clogging, and hold the crushed grain above the bottom for good wort circulation. The Unit holds  9 gallons, although we do not recommend boiling more than 6½ gallons (perfect for 5-6 gallon batches). The grain pipe (basket) holds up to 18 pounds of crushed malt, and a pipe with silicone hose on top feeds the recirculated wort from the pump evenly on top of the grain bed.  Runs on any GFCI protected 110 volt plug with at least 15 amps.

Something like a simpler Grainfather, the Robobrew has a basic electronic thermostat that lets you set temperature and also has a delayed start feature, so you can program it to turn on up to 23 hours in advance, handy when you want hot strike water when you return home from work.  Although multiple temperature rest mashing cannot be programmed,  you can do this manually, by turning up the temperature during the mash to a new set point.

The Robobrew also includes a simple stainless immersion wort chiller with ½” hose barb outlets, although you need to provide the water in/out hoses and fittings (see our Robobrew Tubing Kit Q69 at right, available separately).

The system includes a Digital Backlit Temperature Control and Display, Malt Pipe, Dual Element Heating (500 and 1000 watts for 1500 watts total), a stainless ball valve with ½ threads to accept any NPT accessory, and a Magnetic Pump installed in the base.  A great deal on a recirculating electric system that will work anywhere you have a suitable 110 volt plug.

NEEDED, BUT NOT INCLUDED: ½" Interior diamter tubing (usually 10 to 15') to connect the immersion wort chiller to your water source and hose attachment fittings. We have an optional kit for this, and when you put the Robobrew in your cart, you will be given an opportunity to purchase this tubing kit.

NOTE: Unlike other suppliers, we include Silicone tubing for the recirculation pump.

Great Device
I love this product. Excellent for the experienced all grain brewer as well as those crossing over from extract brewing. My only issue is with the poorly written instructions. I found that there are some steps missing, such as having to remove the handle to stir the mash. Aside from this and the learning curve required to dial in the mash temperature, I absolutely recommend this product.

1st Brew Session Complete and a Success!
I did a lot of reviewing here and other sites plus you-tube videos prior to my purchase. It arrived as expected in good shape on 8/8/2017. I brewed on it 8/12/2017 and it went very well. The instructions could have been better, but having watched soooo many videos of others (especially cellar dwellers) I had a good idea on what to expect. It held a great boil here in Virginia as is. I have since wrapped with a camping mat and pipe insulation. Looking forward to my next brew session to see any differences with the insulation. All in all, a great unit for the money.

Almost there
After brewing my first batch I have a few comments. First I was very thrilled with the price and the quality of the Robobrew. The unit worked well and the clean up was nice and easy. It is definitely nice using an all electric system which does keep the temperature more consistent during the mash out and boiling process. The temperature should monitored externally also as the probe doesn't really give and accurate reading on full temperature of the mash. The documentation was needs improvement so someone purchasing should try and find a group that has used the product to understand how to use the system. For example there is a timer on the system but no information on how to use it.
One improvement would be a site glass to see how much wort is in the container while sparging. There are marking on the side but you need to keep lifting the basket to read it.
I'm very happy with the purchase and hope this doesn't stop anyone from purchasing the unit.

Easiest brew day ever!!
Let me start this review with why I decided to buy the Robobrew.
I work two jobs 7 days a week and my old 3 vessel two burner two Keggle one false bottom round cooler system with march pump has served me very well over the years. But it's too much to brew on a regular basis with very limited time especial with all the setup and cleanup needed. Plus if I brewed alone I was tired and sore at the end of the brew day which isn't good when your working the evening shift. Robo brew was super easy to set up, brew and cleanup. Everything about it make all grain brewing easy and worry free. Plus you never have to worry about the weather like my propane system. Also it's the cheapest easiest RIMS system you can buy hands down. It heats the strike water quick enough and holds mash temp perfect through the entire hour. Mash out was a snap and 80% efficiency is easily achieved as long as you have a proper crush. Boiling was easy as well. Robobrew is the cheapest best system hands down!!!!

Very Good Product
I had been going back and forth on replacing my cooler/pot combo for a while and finally decided to go for it with the Robobrew. The unit is very good & I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could. Quality construction and only needed a good cleaning out of the package. Shipping was fast and on time. Love the recirc and was surprised how useful the timer was.

Here's where the Robobrew loses points. 1. The thermostat doesn't read the actual water/wort temps, but the liquid temp right next to the element housing. I found that my temps were consistently 10 degrees lower than the reading on the screen. After adjusting for that, the brew day went smoothly. I talked to Bill at William's and he responded to my questions quickly and explained that I should take temps out of the recirc pipe instead of trusting the screen. I can do that. 2. You definitely need a reflectix jacket. It will take some time to get to boil temps without it. Cost $10 at HD to make. All in all, very good product!
