Q: How much pressure can the outer jacket handle? The warning concerns me. Thanks!

A: It can handle water flowing through the outer jacket, but it cannot handle house water pressure. If you do not restrict the output of the cooling water, you should be fine.

Q: Is it OK to let properly diluted StarSan soak in the copper between brew days? 2 -4 weeks or more?

A: I wouldn't recommend it. An overnight dip in Star San will make an old chiller look like new. A quick dip will sanitize a clean chiller. Other than that, I can't see any reason for a long term soak which could cause corrosion issues.

Q: I hope this is not a dumb question will this work with the Mash and boil?

A: Yes, you can attach it below the valve and let the hot wort run out into a fermenter below. You will need to elevate the Mash & Boil sufficiently to have enough room under the unit for both the Keg King Counterflow and your fermenter.

Q: What connections are needed to fit this to a garden hose?

A: You will need an E67 3/8" hose barb to female garden hose connector. Screw this onto a male garden hose fitting. Then you will need a suitable length of 3/8" interior diameter tubing (item E04, order per foot) and a couple hose clamps (item E41).

Q: Does the end of the copper have actual hose barbs, or are the just straight 3/8" copper? I am trying to plan putting camlock fittings on and would like to solder dielectric fittings to get to 1/2" NPT. Would this be possible?

A: They are just straight copper, which with hose clamps, work like hose barbs.
