Q: What would be the best way to drain this wort chiller and get all the moisture out to prevent any corrosion inside the tubing?

A: You ,don't have to worry about corrosion as the tubing is all copper. Just make sure to clean it right after brewing and blow out whatever water remains.

Q: What is the easiest way to start a gravity flow siphon?

A: Either by sucking on the end to fill it, or to prefil it with water and then release the water with your thumb over the end when it is low enough.

Q: Will the difference in hose ID cause major leaking problems if I connect to 1/2" Barb cam lock fittings to use with my pump?

A: It might, unless you can figure out a way to close the gap between 3/8 and 1/2"

Q: Would it be possible to sanitize by submerging the entire product in hot water, or is the sidewall material not very heat tolerant? Thanks.

A: To sanitize, it is best to run sanitizer through the copper wort tube. Soaking the entire unit would not move the sanitizer through the tubing well enough to sanitize in our opinion. The outer plastic hose cannot handle temperatures of over 150 degrees F.
