Good: It works great. The rod is 22" long, enough for 6 gal carboys or for my 14 gal conical fermenter. Not so good: It comes with only 3' of 1/4" OD tubing. That's enough hose if you have your 20lb O2 bottle close to your carboy. I needed 10' of tubing to get comfortably into my conical fermenter. Not a big deal...the tubing is cheap...$3 or so for 10 feet at your local hardware store. Otherwise, it is great I like it because I can control the flow of O2 so that I know how much oxygen I am delivering to my wort each time I brew.

This system is ideal for many applications. The want is long enough to reach into many types of fermenters. It is also very easy to clean this device. Just get a small O2 tank from your local welding supply store and you are good to go.
