One of my Favorites and most requested Brews!!

Review by William S. on 8/11/2009

Pros: This was my second homebrew, and I must say it's probably my favorite. Between my Father, Father-in-law, and Friends, there always asking when am I going to brew it again. Definately a good brew for the price!!

Cons: None.

BBP

Review by Alex F. on 7/1/2009

Pros: A great brew, I modified it a little and made it a bourbon barrel porter. Take 16oz (your favorite bourbon) and soak it in two ounces oak chips Williams product A70 for two weeks. Brew the batch as instructed but add a secondary ferment phase and add the bourbon and oak chips. Follow a 14 day secondary ferment protocol rack bottle as normal, allow to age a little longer. You will really enjoy this one!!!

Cons: NONE at all!!!!

Excellent Porter!

Review by Rob M. on 5/18/2009

Pros: This is my favorite kit from Williams. Excellent flavor and easy to brew. I've brewed this kit three times and each batch turned out terrific.

Cons: Fermenting got a little crazy on the last batch and blew the airlock off the primary. After a few hours it calmed down and I was able to seal it again, but it did make a little bit of a mess.

Great Recipe

Review by James H. on 5/7/2009

Pros: Great taste, easy to brew, yeast was ready to pitch in 24 hours. I like complexity so I added 3 ozs of smoked malt grains prior to the boil

Cons: doesn't last long enough.
