Good beer

Review by James H. on 5/22/2009

Pros: Tastes great, brew's easy fermented and kegged just fine

Cons: could use more hopps and some crystal malt to enhance the malt flavor

Thumbs up for the UK IPA

Review by Jim M. on 9/13/2008

Pros: I had a couple of these just two weeks after bottling, and found them to be really nice for such a young brew. It's a British India Pale Ale as opposed to a hyper-hoppy West Coast IPA and it's much smoother because of it. I've made 10 brews and never repeated one, but I just might make another batch of this.

Cons: Not the cheapest kit, but with nearly 9 pounds of malt extract that makes sense.

Excellent beer and easy to make

Pros: very smooth, good year round beer

Cons: none

Great IPA

Review by Kern D. on 7/14/2008

Pros: This is the 2nd time I've brewed this. The traditional IPA Hops hits your palette immediately and then settles into a smooth long finish. For fun, use a secondary fermenter and add 2oz of sterilized oak chips after the first 5-6 days of fermenting.

Cons: Should have ordered 2 Kits because this is disappearing fast.
