English Bitter

Review by Vern D. on 7/12/2008

Pros: I am still a novice brewer, but I and all of the people I serve this beer to love it...very few give it back to me to consume so I will continue to have it as a staple

Pros: I've made this beer twice and it does not dissapoint. One person that I gave some to couldn't believe that it was home brew. It just has that traditional English ale taste that I love. Recommended

Cons: none

Thumbs up on the English

Review by Hack Job Bob on 7/11/2008

Pros: This is a daily drinker, you won't find any of these lingering in the back of your fridge. Very tasty, well balanced and not too heavy on the alcohol. Easy to brew and the ingredients are true to the style. Gotta love these kits.

Cons: UUUmmmmmm.....cons....right.....well, lets see here....sorry, nothing comes to mind.

This is Real Ale

Review by MICHAEL M. on 3/10/2008

Pros: When I came back to the States after studying and drinking for several months in London, I longed for real cask bitter ale. The bottled export English bitter never comes close to the experience. In desperation, I bought a home brew system, and this was my first kit. Even though by now I've brewed most of Williams' kits, I keep coming back to this one, which is a classic. I think about my keg of bitter all day at work, and when I get home it's all I can do to be moderate in my consumption. I recommend it highly.

Pros: Great ale kit, easy to make....no brainer. The wife likes it better than the Micro we get at the local brewery. Easy to drink. Just good

Cons: none
