A good deal

Review by Craig D. on 5/10/2010

Pros: The beer turned out great and was popular among friends. Would cost a great deal more to buy a similar beer.

Cons: Takes a long time to age and I would recommend waiting even a few weeks more as this beer gets better with age.

A Great Brew

Review by Bill G. on 2/27/2010

Pros: For just a little effort, you gat a beer that you would pay $8 or more for at the store. Great flavor, malty with just enough hop taste to counter. Follow the conditioning instructions for good carbonation.

Cons: waiting for so long (6 weeks) before you try it. It's good when you bottle but waiting for the conditioning stage is well worth it.

floral and delightful

Review by Dustin H. on 2/14/2010

Pros: I have been brewing for around 3 years now and I just started using Williams about 6 months ago, and I have been satisfied with every purchase. I love Belgian style ales. This beer truly captures the trappist style, the flavor is floral and delightful, balanced perfectly for the high alcohol content. Simply the best extract kit i have ever done. Carbonation wasn't a problem because I kegged it. It even tasted great flat and semi warm. This beer is down right awsome.

Cons: none expect you have to be careful how much you dirnk.

Belgian Quad

Review by Lalon K. on 2/8/2010

Pros: Great body, full flavor, nice aroma. Love the initial flavor, followed by a full-bodied aftertaste.

Cons: A little "thick" for some palates.

One of my top 2 best beers...

Review by Chris on 12/18/2009

Pros: I modified the recipe slightly in that I added champagne yeast during the secondary fermentation. 10.2%ABV..whoa, "Coma in a Bottle." I disagree with the sales mat'ls...great, full head, not low carbonation. Excellent flavor, I regularly paid $11/bottle for this in the local liquor store!

Cons: It was so good that I was incapable of bottle conditioning it for more than 6 weeks :^( Gave much of it awaybecause my friends said it was the best home brew they'd ever had.
