Pros: Tasted great! Needs to be aged around 3 weeks but the hop flavor is great. Very impressed.

Cons: None.

Great beer when it is Hot or any other time!!!!!!

Review by Jim A. on 8/1/2008

Pros: This is a great light beer for those hot Summer days. It was easy to make and has become one of my favorites. I like to serve mine with a lemon wedge to add to the summer theme. Great beer.

Cons: Seasonal availability of the kit.

Too much head

Review by james r. on 8/6/2008

Pros: Great taste

Cons: I've brewed this kit twice and both times I get so much carbonation I can't drink the beer. The first time I thought I had messed it up. This time I checked everything including my final gravity to a "T". Still way over carbonated. Something is amiss with this kit.

First Kit Purchased from Williams

Review by Rebecca R. on 4/21/2009

Pros: My husband and I have been brewing beer for three years now. This was the first kit we bought that was easy to use, great instructions and wonderful flavor. Still novice brewers but after using this kit we felt much more confident about the process and what bits of the recipe to pay attention to. Love how the kit comes packaged. It is easy to store until you are ready to brew and love how everything comes packaged! When transferring the brew into our keg a taste test proved it is going to be very difficult to wait.

Cons: Shipping to Alaska is expensive and increases the cost of home brewing quite a bit. I wish there was a cheaper way to get it shipped, two kits cost us $35.

Summer Ale

Pros: Is actually ready in five days after botteling. Has nice head, smells great, and nice smooth drinkability. Great for beginners. Perfect for the summer time.

Cons: none
