Just beginning

Review by ALAN on 5/14/2011

This was my first batch of home made wine. I tasted it after 4 months, pretty good. And again after 6 months, even better with good reviews from family. The only drawback I am seeing so far is that waiting 1-2 years for this wine to age will be extremely difficult!

so far so good....

Pros: I have to say this wine kit was incredibly easy to get going! I will be transferring it to the carboy this weekend and am looking forward to stealing a taste, though I know there's a long way to go. The juice was delicious and sweet though, and I'm eager to see what my first foray into winemaking yields.

Very Pleased

Review by Arthur C. on 2/9/2010

Pros: To date none.

Cons: I have purchased three of William’s Brewing concentrates (Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling). Two are in the fermentation stages. The Zinfandel is bottled and will be aging for another few months. While bottling the Zinfandel, I just had to have a taste and found it to be very good. In a couple more months I believe it will be outstanding. I offered a glass to a friend who is very astute about wine and asked for his comment. He said, “It appeared young but would be pleasing with some aging”. I noticed that he continued to drink the entire glass.

Red and White Wine Kits

Review by Louis P. on 2/8/2010

Pros: I have been buying the red zifandel and the white muscat kits for several years now. Never had any problems and friends and family rave at the results.

Cons: None at all...

California Zinfandel Kit

Review by Robert S. on 2/8/2010

Pros: I've made wine from other suppliers and have found that this zin may be better than the others. (If for nothing else than price). Most zinfandels need aging so I will be waiting a year or two before getting a more accurate tasting.

Cons: None
