The Intertap faucet is made of stainless steel, and features a shuttle seal design, which means the body of the faucet remains full of beer at all times.    Because the faucet stays full of beer at all times, it does not get sticky as the mechanism never has a chance to dry out and/or get contaminated. It is mounted on a stainless steel beer ball lock fitting to attach to any ball lock keg, making this faucet hose free and rugged.

The Intertap is the most versatile faucet made because it also features an exclusive threaded spigot, which removes to convert the Intertap into a Growler Filler or Stout Faucet with just the installation of a new spigot (sold separately). Convert the Intertap into a Growler Filler that accepts ½" tubing by just buying a Intertap Growler Adapter, or convert it into a Stout Faucet by purchasing an InterTap Stout Adapter.  No other faucet system gives you this versatility.

Great quality tap
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my father and was so impressed that I decided to buy one for myself, unfortunately when I went to order mine they were on backorder. Anyway, the tap is way better than the standard picnic tap when dispensing from a corny keg.

glad I bought this
Last year I purchased the mini regulator with a keg, and this faucet. I liked it enough to buy one for my other keg.

Can this tap be used on a keg with the rubber handles on top or isn't it tall enough to clear the rubber handle? For example this keg in particular: https://www.williamsbrewing.com/2-Gallon-NSF-Rubber-Top-Keg-King-Keg-P3009.aspx
It works fine on kegs with rubber or stainless handles, including all the rubber topped kegs we sell.

Hi. My kegs are all pin lock. I'm not really interested in converting them to ball lock, but I am very interested in having a faucet like this as a portable and flexible option. Might you offer this keg faucet in a pin lock model? Thanks.
You can make your own keg faucet using items Q79 and Q53 then attaching them to a beer side pin-lock connector. The problem is that stainless steel connectors like we use are not available in pin-lock so you would need to use the standard plastic ones and the threaded part on those does not come off the connector at a 90° angle like the stainless steel ones do. It will work, but not look the same.

In what serving pressure should I need to leave the keg in order to avoid foaming?
A complex question. If the beer temperature is 40 F or lower, the head pressure on your keg should be 3-10 PSI, depending on the length and diameter of your beer line. 3/16" beer line can be as short as 4', while 1/4" interior diameter beer line should be 7' or longer to avoid foaming. This also depends greatly on the carbonation level of the liquid in side the keg.

Are all beer contact surfaces stainless steel, including the keg to faucet adapter?
All parts are stainless except the keg to faucet adapter, which is nickel plated brass.
