Great value

Didn't buy it here (sorry Bill), but have been using it since early 2018. It was calibrated out of the box and still reads within .5 degree F of my lab grade spirit thermometer. While not instant read, it delivers a stable reading within ~5 seconds. You can always count on William's Brewing for top quality.

Works as intended

Digital VS dial thermometer takes the guesswork out of the equation. The Brewers Friend Mash and Boil lid provides an appropriate size hole for the probe. Only one use as of yet but worked great.

Does what it says

I have a number of the smaller CDN's and wanted something with a longer stem that was also fast to read mash temps. This does the trick. It is a couple seconds slower to read than the smaller version, but it gets down into the middle of the mash better. Another solid instrument by CDN at a good price.

Good thermometer

I dropped my other one in the mash and drowned it. This one is more sturdy and I don't have to worry about getting it wet. I also wiped it with alcohol and checked my fermentation temperature. I used the beer that dripped off the thermometer to check the gravity using my refractometer.
