This stainless shank includes a stainless 3/16" hose barb exit, and fits all standard 3" diameter beer towers. Features a spring hole to hold the optional Intertap Faucet Spring, a stainless spring that works only with Nukatap/Intertap Shanks and Nukatap or Intertap Faucets to add a self closing function.
The shank itself fits all beer faucets, but the self closing function is only possible with Intertap Faucets and the Nukatap Faucet Spring. This does not fit Duotight fittings, it has a hose barb for 3/16" or 1/4" beer tubing.

Q: Will this fit a Perlick faucet and not leak?
A: We cannot guarantee this, as there have been machining variances over the years with Perlick faucets.

Q: Is this shank compatible with any of the duotight fittings?
A: No, it has a hose barb that fits 3/16" and 1/4" interior diameter tubing.

Q: This looks like it would fit a 2 1/2 inch tower. What is the length?
A: The curve of the mounting bezel is for a 3" tower, so it would not look correct mounted on a 2.5" diameter tower.

Q: I'd like to place these onto a 6" diameter tower. Any additional adapters or washers available for this?
A: Sorry we do not have adapters for the larger 6" diameter tower.

Q: Do you have version of this where the outside would match a stainless tower?
A: We use these on our Intertap Stainless Tower Kits and they match quite well. They have a polished chrome appearance. They do not have a brushed stainless finish, and we do not have shanks that have a brushed stainless finish.

Great Fit
Perfect and seamless fit for my Nukatap. I have no issues with foaming because I use a tower cooler and 10 feet of line.
auto shut off
My 1st. experience wasn't good I called and said the springs weren't strong enough you sent me a new one that didn't help but with a little trial I figured that the nut on the faucet where the shaft enters is too tight it wont let the spring work. Working great now.
Good for the price; large cavity leads to lots of foam once taps are warm
I have been using stainless Intertap faucets for a little while now and absolutely love them. I had chrome-plated brass shanks however. Last time I took them apart to clean they were heavily corroded. I wanted to replace them but didn't want to spend a lot of money. These shanks are a great price for stainless! My complaint with these shanks is that the large cavity (that allows for the self-closing spring, if used) means a good deal of warm beer comes out with the first pour. I get a lot more foam (only on the first pour after the taps have warmed up) than I did with my previous shanks. I really wish Intertap would offer a version of these shanks without that cavity, since I have absolutely no interest in the self-closing springs.
