This stainless thermowell is perfect for inserting our Keg King Dual Controller probe into, and then inserting into a glass carboy (does not fit the Vintage Shop or Better Bottle carboys) to monitor liquid temperature. The stainless probe is 14" long, and attached to a #6.5 stopper with an extra hole drilled for an airlock.  Fits carboys with openings between 1.2" and 1.5" in diameter. Fits all the glass carboys we sell (except the 1 gallon).

Great for use with Brew Belt Heater or Brew Heater Pad (see links below). Also works with Ranco and Johnson Controls brand digital temperature probes (not the analog grey Controller model with the capillary tube). Made in USA.

Fits probes up to ¼" (6.5mm) in diameter.

Great addition to temp controlled fermetation

Review by Mark on 9/3/2011

I have been using this thermowell for over a year now and it works great. I have the Controller II and a small freezer that I ferment in and the probe from the controller slides into this easily and you get a perfect read on your beer temp. I used to just tape the probe to the outside of the glass but this works so much better. Love it.

Fits my needs

Review by Chris on 11/15/2012

I have this on my 7.5 fermenator. The only issue I had was the ranco temp probe didn't fit in the thermowell. I had to use a fine grit sandpaper to take off a hair of thickness off the probe so I could fit it down the thermowell. Other than that, it's done the job perfectly. I put a barbed 90' plastic elbow into the airlock hole and then run a blowoff tube out.

wont stay in carboy

No matter how i tried it will not stop popping out of the carboy..I tried drying the stopper and neck of the carboy with a paper towel..fiddling aroun with this POS for 20-30 mins only to just use an old universal stopper..this was a special beer that needed precise temp control now i have to tape the probe to the side of the carboy with my fingers crossed..should have got the cap version..but williams is great and this is no reflection on them

Q: Does the probe on an Inkbird ITC-308 fit inside?

A: If your probe is the 6mm one it will fit.
