I've been brewing for about 5 years and of all that I have brewed, the German Ale is by far, hands down, the best of the barrel. this ale is a smooth with a consistent taste throughout. No bitter after taste and not to hoppy. The crowd I hang with are not into IPA"s and other beers that are bitter, just smooth German Ale. It's the number one request by my friends. Don't mess with a good thing!

German Ale
This has become my favorite homebrew kit (currently cooking my 79th batch/3rd German Ale), especially since Williams discontinued Guillermo's Imp. Pilsner (previous fav). I like all styles, but this one is magnificent, especially for those that don't like hoppy beers. I've named this one on my tap list as "BroomHilda Von Shaft-German Ale". Always the first keg to blow. Great session beer. Good job Williams, as expected.

German Ale
I have made this kit probably 5 times or more. I have tried to duplicate the recipe in an all grain brew, but I keep coming back to the William's kit. Great beer!

Great tasting and Easy to make
This may be my favorite but Brown ale is my wife's favorite and I want to do a wheat so I may be buying all 3 now. I brewed the German Ale about 5 weeks before Christmas and it was ready for Christmas. Now I've had a few weeks of not brewing and I'm running out of beer and I'm ready to get started again brewing again.
