Description  more details

Our Farmhouse Ale is somewhat like a Saison, except it is made without wheat malt and with Belgian Wit yeast, so it has a crisper, cleaner finish. An effervescent beer, our Farmhouse Ale is formulated with Belgian pilsner in the extract (and a touch of beet sugar for lightness), and European hops for flavoring and finishing. Alcohol: 6%, IBU's 34

Includes 7 pounds of our blended malt extract and beet sugar, flavoring and aromatic hops, selected liquid yeast, and carbonation sugar. Ease of Brewing: Beginner

Let down
I thought the flavor of this beer tasted very artificial. I think I will stick to more traditional beers.

Farmhouse Ale
Drinking this one right now. Just finished carbonating about 2 days ago, and I think it's great. Very smooth, effervescent and drinkable. I'd brew it again!

Farmhouse ale.
Have been making beer for a long time and this is the worst beer I have ever had. Don't know if it was something I did wrong or what but really had to force this beer down. Finally got rid of it.

perfect with some additions
Wasn't too excited about the taste initially. Used a Randal filter and ran beer through fresh strawberries to kegarator tap and had great reviews by my critics. Maybe try to brew this again next Summer with some other seasonal fruit/flavors available such as apricot, maybe strawberry/rubbarb ?
