A nylon lever capper of advanced patented design, with a gear-driven capping head that makes capping easier, as less force is required to crimp the steel bottle cap. In addition, the handles are wider than on other lever cappers, and a return spring surrounding the capping head makes the capper automatically release when capping is completed. Made by Ferrari of Italy.

The steel jaws can be removed with needle nose pliers and reversed so the Emily can also cap 29 and 31mm bottle caps. You will also need to purchase our item EA5 29MM Crimping Cup to make this work.

Constructed of self-lubricating nylon with steel pivot points. Also caps American champagne bottles with its unique reversible jaws.

I REVIEWED THE EMILY CAPPER AS POOR BECAUSE MINE BROKE DURING THE THIRD BATCH OF BOTTLING. THE NEXT DAY I GET AN EMAIL APOLOGIZING AND SENDING ME A NEW ONE! NOW THAT'S STANDING BEHIND YOUR PRODUCTS! I STILL THINK I MIGHT UPGRADE TO A METAL CAPPER. William's Responds: Glad you like our service. Try the Emily again, we have one here in our Brewlab that has been going strong for 15 years. Thanks for your business!

Great for bottling
I did enjoy using this to bottle my beer. I bought the table top style and I loved it too. I have now moved to kegging my beer so I wont be using this anymore.

Why a magnet?
Rugged, reliable, and inexpensive. I have capped thousands of bottles with this unit. The only negative is the magnet at the center of the crimper. It serves no purpose, and it sometimes pulls the cap out of line so it gets bent and has to be replaced. This seems to happen about once or twice per case. Without the magnet, it would be a five-star product.

Great product
I've used this capper for several years. Works flawlessly, doesn't take up alot of space. Nice for capping a case or two from a 5 gal batch. Any more and you might want to look at a bench capper.
