60 Qt Brewers Edge Brew Pot
I liked the size but the metal was thinner than it could be. It feels cheep. Although it does work it could have been a few gages thicker.

Very good kettle
Bought this kettle on sale, and it's a great piece. Arrived with a few small dents in the bottom edge, but nothing that affects function.

Brewers Edge 60 quart Kettle
This is a great pot for a good price. Customer service is great and shipping to So Cal was 1 day. Williams Brewing has become my go to shop for brewing equipment.

Good pot for the price
Note that it is definitely possible to fit this post on some home stoves. I got tired of the cold weather this winter, and found that with the lid off, I can just barely fit it under my over-rage microwave, and use the vent fan. The pot fits across two electric burners on my *ceramic top* stove, and I did some large BIAB batches that way.
I've been using it for two years, and have also just barely fit it into my temperature chamber for several kettle-soured recipes.

Great Pot
Excellent pot at an excellent price. The service was also awesome. Will definitely look at Williams for other brewing needs.

Can you recommend a false bottom for this kettle? Would the kettle screen work out if i was going to use this as a direct fire mash tun? Thanks for your help
The R49 Kettle Screen will work, but it is not ideal. You can also use our item S17 along with nipple E36 and a foot or so of S54 thermoplastic tubing, although this is not a perfect setup.

Their must be,but I have to ask. Are their gallon markings?
This pot does NOT have gallon markers.

Is there a sight glass that goes with this pot?
Our item B07 will fit in to the thermometer port, which is about 1/3 of the way up the pot. To install it elsewhere you would need to drill a hole (see item B33) and install a female bulkhead (something we will be stocking soon.)

With this kettle, how would you recommend keeping hops, trub out of the drain after the boil completes?
You could use our KettleScreen, item R49. Another good way is to chill the wort in the pot with an immersion chiller, and then just take off the wort with the valve. The sediment will settle below the level of the valve and remain in the pot.
