The Brewer's Edge® Micro Regulator combines the precision of a Mini Regulator, with the portability of a simple gas injector. Featuring a 0-30 PSI range, precisely adjustable with the calibrated top knob. Best of all, it takes all standard 16 gram threaded and 74 gram threaded C02 cartridges, so you have the choice of a lightweight compact unit with the 16 gram, or a high capacity unit with the 74 gram cartridge.

Features a 0-30 psi C02 regulator that features precise adjustment via the calibrated top adjustment knob. With this 0-30 PSI model, you can both dispense and force carbonate. Fits ball-lock kegs and only weighs 9 ounces.

The flared outlet on the side that goes to the stainless ball lock fitting can be unscrewed and leaves a 1/8" female NPT port. Into this port you can screw any 1/8" NPT male thread hose barb or threaded outlet.

The regulator does not include a pictured cartridge, you will be offered a chance to order these when you put this in your cart. Note that C02 cartridges cannot be shipped by air or express, and cannot be shipped outside the lower 48 states due to aviation and postal regulations.

FOR C02 ONLY: This regulator is designed for use with C02 only, and should not be used with higher pressure argon or nitrogen gas.

Awesome mini regulator for dispensing beer on the go

Review by Tom on 10/28/2017

I've used this with both a 64oz mini-key and a 2.5 gallon keg. In both cases, I filled the keg with carbonated beer from a 5 gallon keg in my kegerator. This feels VERY well made! It's solid with smooth turning pressure adjustment. I couldn't be happier with it. I considered the higher priced regulator with a gauge, but don't miss the gauge at all. It is easy to dial in a good dispensing pressure.

Q: I bought this one with the metal ball lock connector and am having a lot of problems getting in to go on my pin lock to ball lock conversion connections. Can i replace the metal connector with a plastic 1/4" flare connector on this unit?

A: Perhaps the ball lock connector on your Micro Regulator is out of tolerance? We are sending a replacement ball lock connector today for you to try.

Q: Can I add a 1/8" MPT x 1/4" flare adapter to the regulator and use my 5 pound CO2 bottles? The max pressure in these bottles, depending on temperature (assuming no more then 5 pounds of liquid CO2) is about 1,000 p.s.i. (usually no more then 800).

A: As long as you can make a reliable and safe connection that can withstand 800 PSI, this should work. The Micro Regulator can withstand 800 to 1000 PSI inlet pressure

Q: Will this unit hold the Co2 if I transfer it to another keg or will the c02 cartridge just empty out if I remove the whole unit from the corney keg?

A: It will hold gas if you remove the unit from one keg and put it on another.

Q: How precise is precise? Just curious because i don't see any reviews here or by googling Does this have a pressure gauge?

A: It does not have a pressure gauge, and the knob on top is calibrated in PSI. We have tested these with an external pressure gauge, and found that when you dial in the knob pressure, the actual dispense pressure is usually within 1 to 2 PSI of the knob setting.
