Description

Pure food grade platinum cured silicone tubing can withstand temperatures of 350 degrees F. More flexible than thermoplastic tubing, and a bit easier to see through.  Ideal for piping hot wort into wort chillers. This tubing is 1/2" in interior diameter, and has a 3/4" exterior diameter.  Maximum pressure 5 psi, so this tubing is not for use in pressurized setups, like draft beer dispensing.

FDA compliant for food applications, 3-A certified to Sanitary Standards, BPA and Phthalate free, made in USA.

Sold per foot, when you enter a quantity of 5, for example, you will get one five foot length.

Why use anything else?
This stuff is beautiful! I can't believe I ever fooled around with vinyl tubing...or for that matter thermoplastic tubing. This tubing is extremely flexible as well as heat resistant. It easily connects to hose barbs. I will NEVER use anything else! This stuff is the BEST!

Not Quite The Same
The ID is slightly larger than 1/2" resulting in a very loose fit on my 1/2" hose barbs. I'll stick with my platinum cured silicone tubing from my other source since the price is the same and the quality is far better.

William's Brewing Responds: We have measured our tubing with a caliper and it is exactly 1/2" in interior diameter. It is also platinum cured. Can you measure your hose barb? Thanks!

The Best
This is the best silicone high temp tubing I ever used. It stays clear, which is nice to see wort flowing. It does get a big soft with hot wort, so be careful of kinks and using it on your fittings.

Love this tubing.
This (and the 3/8" version ) is the best tubing I've used. I got rid of ALL my regular pvc tubing and replaced it with this silicone tubing. Using it with Snap-locks, Mark 2 pump, I can still see flow and wort clarity easily. I haven't had any issues with it trying to "kink" on me but it remains flexible just the perfect amount to maneuver. On the one barbed fitting I have left in my set-up, it's able to be removed (for cleaning) w/o a tremendous effort. I'll definitely continue to use and buy again as needed.

Hi, Is this NSF51 certified? Is there a product datasheet I can refer to? Cheers
It is not NSF51 certified, but it is 3-A Certified compliant to sanitary standards for food contact.
