Ferments to a dry finish, and is able to ferment worts with gravities as high as 1.075. Excellent for strong ales and stouts. Medium flocculation, attenuation 71-75%. Ideal temperature range: 62-72°F.
Excellent rresults, made an outstanding Irish Red followed by a Scottish. Also appreciate the delivery method, the yeast was still cool when received.
Great finish. Smooth and balanced. I will use this many more times.
Used this yeast to make an Irish Red with GREAT results. Highly recommended.
Pros: I especially like this style of yeast in many of my ales. It,s very clean and ferments out well, as a good yeast should. All the yeasts that I've tried have quick activation and have done a very good job. Cons: a little pricey, but for consistency and reliability, I suppose it may be worth it.
Pros: It can be used to brew many styles of ale without being overpowering. The XL pouch is Convenient for next day pitches. Cons: Higher price of the XL. Still won't discourage those that can't increase a small pouch.
