The Secret Ingredient
Pros: I spent years formulating a special Roggen bier. I like to brew other types of beers but everyone I know gets upset unless the next batch up is the Roggen. I’m back here again to pick up the main ingredient, this crushed rye malt. Mashed for an hour and added to the American light malt extract you can’t go wrong.

Cons: Since it's already crushed it is fairly easy to mash but would be nicer to have rye extract.
