PERL FORWARD-SEAL STAINLESS FAUCET Description
This second generation Perlick faucet is machined from solid stainless
steel, and features a forward-seal design, which means the body of the faucet
remains full of beer at all times (the valve that opens the faucet is forward of the lever). What this means is less of the faucets insides
are exposed to air and bacterial contamination, so it stays cleaner. Because the faucet stays full of beer at all times, it does not get
sticky as the mechanism never has a chance to dry out and/or get
contaminated.
I should have ordered these long ago. Not only do they operate smooth as silk (even after being left shut for weeks), but they look much more classy than the standard faucets on most kegerators.
