Unlike standard lid O rings which have a .280" cross section, our exclusive Overside O Ring has a slightly larger (.310") diameter, and is molded from softer rubber, for a more positive seal at low dispensing pressures. An ideal fix for an older keg with a leaky lid, or for any keg that needs to be pressurized before filling to achieve an airtight seal. Fits all brands of kegs, pin-lock or ball-lock, with a 3 by 3.5” clamp down oval lid.

Best for older lids, as new lids when installed on older kegs tend to have tighter tolerances, and a standard O ring (our part P92) works fine. Note: Pictured lid is not included.

Old Keg Soution

These are the bomb!! Had a bunch of older kegs and have replaced the o-rings with standard size with less than favorable results. My 3 gallon kegs were pretty much worthless as they all leaked below 7 psi. After I found these, I bought 6 of the soft o-rings and it fixed every keg I put them on - WELL worth the extra cost over standard o-rings. It's like beer insurance. :-) Thanks  Williams!

Works awesome!

Used this on two kegs that wouldn't seal and solved the problem right away.  I'm gonna buy more for back-ups.

over sized keg lid 'O' ring

size DOES matter when working with used kegs.
this product seemed tp solve my problems on gas lost.
that's why i ordered two more!

Does the job, a bit pricey

Fixes most leaky lids.  Not a miracle worker -- lids with really bad leaks will still need to be repaired.  I ferment in corny kegs, so the pressure is low.  Most kegs (most of mine anyway) need higher pressure to seal  with conventional rings.  This fatter o-ring usually creates a good seal at atmospheric pressure, warding off oxidation and contamination.

For what it is (just a larger diameter o-ring), this product is a bit pricey, especially if you want to replace the o-rings on dozens of kegs.  That said, I haven't been able to find them anywhere else, and making my own from cord stock didn't really work out that well.  So I'll pay the $5!
