Optional
Liquid Yeast Warranty Box
We
ship liquid yeast year round, but do not provide a warranty on
liquid
yeast unless you order this optional yeast warranty.
What this
includes is separate 2-3 day Priority Mail shipment of your liquid
yeast (up to
3 Wyeast Packs or 7 White Labs tubes per warranty pack).
Our
Warranty Box includes the cost of separate Priority Mail shipping, and
the cost
of the foam insulated box and included 16 ounce frozen ice pack. This
Warranty
Box will hold up to 3 Wyeast liquid yeast packs, or up to 7 White Labs
tubes. If
you are ordering more than 3 Wyeast packs per order, please order
multiple Yeast
Warranty Boxes. For example, if you are ordering 3 Wyeast packs and 3
White Labs
Tubes, you will need to order 2 Yeast Warranty Boxes to get a warranty.
You
will have to pay the normal shipping charge on your order in addition
to the
cost of the Yeast Warranty Box. So this is a really good deal if you
order all
your supplies from us, not such a good deal if all you are ordering is
one yeast
pack. Remember, you can still order yeast and ice packs like before, but
if
you want us to warranty the shipment, you must order this optional
Liquid Yeast
Warranty.
An
address where mail can be
delivered is required
We cannot
ship the Yeast Warranty Box to an address different than the one used
for the
rest of your order. So make sure that your order containing the
Optional Liquid
Yeast Warranty Box has an address the Postal Service can deliver to. If
you live
in a rural or remote area, put both your mail and physical address in
the
address area.
Be
smart about your
delivery address
When placing
an
order with an Optional Liquid Yeast Warranty Box, pick a delivery
address that
will be out of the sun when it is delivered. Ideally, pick a place of
work or
address where someone will be home at time of delivery. We cannot
deliver the
Optional Yeast Warranty Box to a different address than the rest of
your
order. If you need this service, place two orders, one for
the bulk of
your supplies, and a smaller one just containing yeast with an Optional
Liquid
Yeast Warranty Box.
Do
you
need this?
We ship liquid
yeast
that is fresh and kept refrigerated at all times until it leaves our
warehouse.
Ordering this optional Yeast Warranty Box will insure your yeast is
kept cool or
at room temperature during transit at very little additional cost. If
you live in zones 3, 4, and 5
on the map above, is it highly recommended that you order this box
along with
your liquid yeast. This is not needed for hops or dry yeast. We cannot
replace
liquid yeast that has been damaged in shipment unless a Yeast Warranty
Box was
ordered at the time of shipment. Yeast may arrive at room temperature
or warmer,
but should be fine as long as it arrives within 3-4 days of shipment.
We
recommend you order this on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Saturday, and Sunday only (and we may hold shipment on Thursday or
Friday till the next Monday)
To
keep a target 3 day delivery time, we recommend ordering of the Liquid
Yeast
Warranty Box to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (before 4pm Pacific Time),
Saturday,
and Sunday. This way the box always has 3 working days to reach you.
If you order this on Thursday or Friday, we reserve the right
to hold shipment till the following Monday in the case of extremely hot
weather.
