Take your beer with you when you go to the beach, camping, a game, or to a party. Our Mini C02 System is lightweight and portable, and combines the precision of a full sized C02 regulator with the compactness of a simple air pump or C02 injector.

Our Mini C02 System takes our new light weight 45 gram C02 cartridges (with standard 5/8=18 NPT threads), which hold enough gas to dispense a carbonated 5 gallon ball-lock keg. Our Williams 45 Gram Cartridges weigh less than 7 ounces each, and the entire Mini C02 System with a fresh cartridge installed weighs less than 2 pounds.

The system is built around a 0-25 psi C02 regulator that features precise adjustment via the calibrated top adjustment knob. Unlike larger beer regulators, this one features a pressure release, so when you dial back the pressure, it releases keg pressure to adjust dispensing pressure precisely. This way, you can install the Mini C02 System on a keg, and reduce excessive head pressure by just turning the knob and watching the gauge.

Perfect for small keg

PROS:  Small, well made, looks cool, regulates pressure

I use this on my "to-go" 2-1/2 and 3 gallon kegs with a ball lock tap on the other fitting.  I don't use it to force carbonate.  Compared to having a bottle and a hose and a picnic tap and a hose, this is so much simpler and presents itself so much better.  With this keg in my arm, I've brought whole new meaning to one of my favorite sayings; "I'm just going to have one beer!"

intro to kegging

Pros: what a great way to experience "how to keg". I was able to force carbonate my 5 gal cornie with one cartridge and dispense the whole 5 gal with one more. Had I used the full portion of priming sugar called for in the recipe rather than cutting it back as advised by a homebrew guru I dont think I would have had to use the extra cartridge making this system affordable in my mind. Also the only way to aquire co2 in my area is to trade your empty for a full one and I cant see going to the expense of buying a brand new 10lb can only to trade it in for something shoddy. 

 Cons: keeping enough c02 cartridges on hand,there's a price break on the purchace of 8 or more, is there a case of say 12 or whatever available for purchase. what about a n02/c02 blend for irish stouts?

Worth it

Pros: Compact, accurate, it works

Regulator makes life easier

Pros: Works well, uses a 45g cartridge instead of 8-12g pump regulators.  Makes it really easy to transport a keg, not having to carry around a co2 tank. 

 Cons: It was hard to get the serving pressure low enough without it purging the co2.  I had to keep it set around 8 psi to hold the pressure.  This created a lot of foam when pouring.

Must have for Kegs.

Pros: The mini regulator works great.  I dispensed one three gallon Corney and am going to start another.  I have experimented in the past with life raft CO2 bottles then paintball CO2 bottles but this makes everything much easier.  I plan on making a hanger for the regulator that will lock it in place on the side of the Keg.  I will be transporting my Beer more often now that I don’t have to service my own CO2 bottles.   Thanks for making the regulator available to the Home brewer.
