This is a 1 Molar KCI Solution with an anti bacterial additive to prevent bacterial growth when you store your meter wet with this solution. We have formulated this with 1 Molar KCI instead of the usual 3 Molar, as it is less likely to leave white crystals on your pH meter electrode, and we also add buffers so this solution is resistant to pH change and will stay at 4.0 pH even if sightly contaminated. 4 oz bottle.

pH meter storage solution
After a couple of weeks of storage in the solution to protect the electrodes I noticed crystals forming in the bottom of the container. I understand the need to keep the electrodes wet to prevent contaminates from building up around them. I dumped the solution and replaced it with bottled water. I'll see how that works.
